Karie Elsasser- Founder/President-CEO

Ms. Elsasser has a Marine Biology Education including 12 years experience in biochemistry and over 25 years of experience in the financial and business development industries. Her experience includes Funding, Deal Negotiations, Structuring/Restructuring, Contract Writing, Commodity Trading and Logistical Strategies.

Throughout Karie’s career, she has been devoted to learning, improving upon and implementing better processes, while working towards a healthier life for today and future generations to come. She has worked with several major world Governments, Native American Sovereign Nations, First Nations in Canada, USA gold mine owners; as well as multiple international oil and gas refineries, drilling companies, construction/development companies, alternative energy, and new technology developers.

In the last several years her focus has pivoted to Safe Natural Products. Her efforts are now entirely devoted to the criticality of running and decontaminating businesses, farms & oilfields, and homes as efficiently and effectively as possible, reducing Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) risks to the greatest extent possible.

Ms. Elsasser continues to build and lead decontamination teams globally, tackling some of the most demanding project sites in the world. Together, they successfully address significant toxin issues in oil, gas, process water, shipping, healthcare, agriculture, food and beverage production. She is leading the charge for Global Clean Up and revolutionizing the face of disinfection and decontamination.

Josh Paap- Co-Founder Vice President

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation and minors in Global Studies and Admiralty Law. He is a diligent and self-driven Marine Operations professional, specializing in Maritime risk management and value enhancement within the Oil & Gas sector. His Oil and Gas career started in 2008 with Transocean, where he focused on engineering design, incident management, and integrated technology systems.

His breadth of experience includes shipyard operations, ship building and auditing, brokerage, and vessel safety operations. He has gained valuable senior leadership experience through marine offshore logistics coordination, vessel commissioning, repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, vessel dry docking operations, and reduction of operational risks for vessels engaged in offshore exploration and production activities.

Josh’s business acumen, technical expertise, strong work ethic and steadfast commitment to high performance make him a natural leader. He is adept at building and fostering business alliances, and continually seeks out networking opportunities for expansion. His project management strategies are consistently focused on safety and security, contingency planning, and efficient utilization of resources and labor. Josh’s contagious passion for a healthy environment drives him towards success daily, and inspires those around him to take action and understand their responsibility for Global Clean Up.

Joey Gauthier- Director of Compliance and Supply

Joey Gauthier is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of unparalleled experience in the energy sector, focusing on supply/trade desk and logistics management across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. His extensive skill set includes managing production contracts, optimizing petroleum sales, strategic business planning, and enhancing supply chain processes. Recognized for his strategic foresight and ability to adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of the energy industry, Joey consistently delivers exceptional financial performance while leading transformative initiatives that drive growth and profitability.

Joey’s impressive track record is further distinguished by his background as a highly trained infantry and reconnaissance Marine. This military experience has instilled in him a disciplined, mission-focused approach to leadership and problem-solving, equipping him with the resilience and decisiveness required to excel in high-pressure environments. His unique skill set positions him as an exceptional leader, capable of navigating complex challenges to achieve sustainable results.

Throughout his career, Joey has held pivotal leadership roles at Veteran Fuels, Pipeline Transportation, and McKenzie Holdings, alongside his honourable service in the United States Marine Corps. His cross-functional leadership enables him to identify and capitalize on lucrative opportunities for petroleum production and sales in both domestic and international markets.

Benjamin Day- Director of Marine Operations

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation, is a Master of Oceans and has an LNG PIC. He is a USCG Licensed Master Mariner, with a passion for our planet and a drive to find solutions for everyday problems. In the course of his 16-year career at sea, he has Captained some of the largest ocean-going vessels in the world. Ben has acquired a vast range of maritime experience that includes day to day operations of nearly every type of ship (from Containerships to Traditional square-rigged sailing vessels), to working on every ocean and continent (including Antarctica).

Prior to his life at sea, he honed his skill in Winemaking. He learned from the industry’s best winemakers in Australia’s Hunter Valley and California’s Central Coast winemaking regions. His work ethic, project management skills, and tremendous ability to understand the art and finesse of winemaking, allowed him the privilege of working on over 20 individual wine labels- many of which were exclusive reserve wines.

Ben also, quite literally, knows how to build from the ground up. He has helped build multigenerational homes in some of the most challenging locations in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, around beautiful Lake Tahoe, where he calls home. His unique perspective and background bring an outside-the-box approach to problem solving. He is a well-balanced leader and creative thinker. Ben’s innovative ideas, combined with his global business expertise, offer hope for the future of a happy and healthy planet.

Christian D Mendez - Director of Business Development

Cristian has an impressive background in business development within the financial industry, boasting 25 years of experience. Winning an award in the financial category at the Kiosk Show for direct sales and marketing demonstrates expertise and success in these areas.

Moreover, serving as the CEO and founder of XP Global Group LLC and XP Business Network Platform showcases leadership skills and entrepreneurial acumen.
